Video – The Piano Guys original tune: All of Me

The video we watched an original tune by The Piano Guys: All of Me. Jon Schmidt (the pianist) wrote this song years ago and many people have performed it on YouTube. Finally, he recorded his version for YouTube.

Enjoy the video again.

Lesson 13 – Practice and PUNCH

Final Preparations
You practiced your presentations and received feedback. Use the feedback to help you to improve your presentations.

Next week, you will give your final presentations. Use the OP Presentation Guide handout to help you prepare. If you need to download the guide click on the link below.

OP Presentation Guide

PUNCH
I gave a mini-lecture on beginning your presentation well with PUNCH. Read more about PUNCH at the blog link below.

You can also see the slides again with the slideshow below.

In addition to the focus point for each point of your conclusion, I suggest a final focus point. You can introduce your final focus point with these words …

If you only remember one thing from my presentation, please remember that …

After that, show your title slide and finish with Thank you! (do not say "I'm finished.").

This is a powerful way to end your conclusion.

Next Lesson (1/15)
Next week some of you will give your final speech. Everyone should be ready.

Remember:
  • Do not write sentences on slides
  • Use keywords or images
  • You cannot use notes
  • Memorize your final sentence and practice it many times

Continue building your Final SpeechPractice, practice, practice. Practice makes perfect.
